Glen Stein is a corporate finance strategist and merchant banker who advises companies and executives preparing for debt, equity and M&A opportunities. He brings a unique perspective, having closed hundreds of transactions in multiple roles: as a founder, lender, borrower, CFO, board member, transactional lawyer and investment banker.
Glen began his career on Wall Street as a corporate attorney at Pillsbury Winthrop, and then joined Prudential Securities as an investment banker, where he completed approximately 75 institutional asset-backed debt transactions and raised more than $10 billion for finance companies.
After leaving New York, Glen spent over 25 years serving as a senior executive and owner of growth companies. He was Founder and Chairman of consumer lender EasyPay Finance through its sale to Intervest Capital Partners; CFO and board member of Derm Holdings, where he raised the company's first institutional debt and preferred equity and closed more than 30 acquisitions; and CFO of First Capital, the country’s largest non-bank asset-based lender, where he brought in a majority private equity partner and raised over $2 billion of debt, through its sale to Ares Management and two national banks. He led the sale of technology company eNeighborhoods as CFO at 27x EBITDA. Glen has also led commercial real estate lending businesses, in both direct private lending as well as servicing and special servicing.
Today, Glen advises middle-market companies, owners and management teams preparing for debt and equity raises involving acquisitions, financings and recapitalizations. Glen advises on the best strategic capital structure, identifies appropriate capital providers and negotiates financing terms.
Glen graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College and earned his JD from Columbia Law School. He is a member of YPO and a past Chair of its Palm Beach Chapter.
