Christopher Gleysteen is a Managing Director at BDT & MSD Partners, a merchant bank with an advisory and investment platform built to serve the distinct needs of business owners and strategic, long-term investors. He joined MSD Partners, a predecessor firm to BDT & MSD Partners, in 2015 as a member of the credit team, focused on both public and private transactions. Christopher began his career in equity research at Simmons & Company International, later serving as an investment analyst at Merchants’ Gate Capital. He is also on the Board of Trustees for the National Trust of Scotland, USA, a non-profit that provides grants for projects that protect Scotland’s natural, built, and cultural heritage. Christopher received an A.B. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.
